Money worries can affect anyone—even people who appear to have more than enough. In this episode of Love Your Love Muscle, we explore why financial stress is often about more than money itself.
Our sense of security can also depend on social support, trust in ourselves, the ability to ask for help, and the beliefs about money we learned from family and society. Rather than dismissing real financial hardship, this conversation offers a compassionate way to understand our reactions and focus on the practical steps available now.
The episode concludes with a short heart-focused self-regulation practice. You’ll be invited to notice what already supports your life, reconnect with appreciation, reflect on inherited beliefs about money, and choose one useful next step.
Whether you need support or are in a position to help someone else, this episode is a reminder that asking, giving, gratitude, and human connection can all be sources of security.

Inspired by Cistercian monks in France, this special episode of Love Your Love Muscle offers an experience of Vespers followed by silent contemplation.
We begin with Antiphona et Magnificat, performed by Schola Gregoriana, before transitioning into Drone in D by Kevin MacLeod. You can listen to the chant as prayer or simply receive the voices and sound.
The monks describe the silent prayer as a way of becoming more mindful of God. This meditation respects that Christian tradition while leaving room for your own understanding of God, spirituality, or life itself.
After the chant, you can continue with the gentle music or lower the volume completely and experience the remainder in silence.
There is nothing particular to achieve. Find a comfortable position, let your breathing remain natural, and give yourself time to listen and be present.

Why are we so quick to criticize others online?
In this episode of Love Your Love Muscle, Seb and life coach Erin Herlihy explore negativity in social media and everyday life. We look at why people sometimes feel the need to drag others down, especially when someone has invested time and effort into creating something or helping others.
We discuss social comparison, status, online behavior, criticism and what research can tell us about why negativity spreads. More importantly, we explore how we can respond without allowing other people's negativity to stop us from creating, sharing and doing what matters to us.

This is a special bonus episode of Love Your Love Muscle.
Rather than a guided meditation, this episode invites you to settle into your own practice while enjoying the natural soundscape of a peaceful park near Beaune, France.
The recording intentionally preserves the full dynamic range of the environment. Some moments are very quiet, while others include louder natural sounds. Please do not increase your volume during the quieter sections, as louder sounds may follow naturally.
Simply find a comfortable place, let the soundscape become part of your meditation, and enjoy a few moments of stillness.
This podcast is presented in standard stereo. Patreon members can also download an immersive spatial version designed for XR glasses, allowing you to experience the surroundings in a more lifelike way.

In this episode of Love Your Love Muscle, we explore the simple practice of staying present.
Set in a quiet forest filled with birds and the sound of wind moving through the trees, the meditation begins by using the breath as an anchor. From there, you are invited to notice your surroundings, thoughts, and feelings without needing to follow or change them.
When the mind wanders, simply notice where it went and return to the breath. The session concludes by bringing awareness to the heart and cultivating a feeling of gratitude.
A meditation for practicing presence, observing your inner world, and creating a little more space between you and your thoughts.

In this episode of Love Your Love Muscle, we explore a simple heart-focused meditation in nature.
Using the sounds of the sea, the landscape, and even a passing boat, the session invites you to expand your awareness beyond yourself and notice how you relate to what is happening around you.
Rather than judging or analyzing your experience, the focus is on observing. What do you notice? What changes when you simply allow thoughts, feelings, sounds, and sensations to be present?
A gentle session about awareness, perspective, and reconnecting with the world around you through the heart.

How do we form our view of reality?
In this episode of Love Your Love Muscle, we explore how our thoughts, experiences, beliefs, and assumptions shape the way we interpret the world around us. Two people can witness the same event and come away with completely different conclusions.
Through mindfulness and self-awareness, we can begin to notice the stories we tell ourselves and how those stories influence our relationships, emotions, and decisions.
A reflective talk about perception, perspective, and seeing beyond our habitual viewpoints.
